Consider the possibility that Trump is aiding the slide into brave (frankentube) New World totalitarianism. Are there secular arguments against ivf? "Ourselves and our posterity"? (Not ourselves and big gov's frankentube slaves?)

Also note the parallel between Trump's pumping of school choice (puts strings on homeschooling) and pumping of ivf (puts strings on parenting). Note how Trump's Dobbs is anti life by allowing States to decide abortion (strips the winds of inalienable from the sails of created equal). Also Trump is the "father" of the warp speed abortion tainted vaccine.

All these, along with Trump's unrepentant Democrat history, combine to suggest that he was a reality actor Democrat planted to make conservatives lock down who would not have under an admitted Democrat president. And to usher in the Eugenic States of America.

We owe it to young couples to declare the nature of the human person unapologetically to them as St. Pope John Paul did. This nature entails some hard limitations on our conduct. Sometimes this can only be grasped with great difficulty.

I remember long ago I was dragged kicking and screaming to recognize death penalty as an offense to the human person. My heart wanted it to be used as a deterrent in the criminal justice system, but it became intellectually impossible for me to reconcile the practice with the knowledge that St. Pope John Paul gave me.

The same thing with IVF. I have many friends who have availed themselves of it. They remain my friends of course, but my intellect knows IVF offends human nature.

To Stacy's point, it pains me that President Trump fails the test here, but perhaps this is a providential error. I'm so glad you are publishing this book Dr. Trasancos.

Just as with rape, its not okay to rape, but it's not the child's fault and noone is shaming the child.

One difference between rape and IVF is the freezing of embryos and tecnhnicalization of conception and implantation which leaves these kids creatures of the state. (Read dignitas personae) They will have a hard time attaching to their guardians and we can only pray they have a sense of their being welcomed by God , the ultimate father.

As someone a-neutral - is that a concept ? - I can only speculate, that if in the future, some IVF kiddo ends up saving the world (best case) your theological tack might reap the whirlwind ... but

I get it; I really do.

That is like saying if a rape concerned kiddo ..etc. just because the method of conception is evil doesn't mean the kid is.

I'm not sure where you're coming from but it's far out.

Sorry typo I meant to say rape conceived. You seem to be implying the author is against "IVF kiddos" rather than against IVF. That's like saying someone who is against rape is against rape conceived kiddos

So, it's not Ok to try IVF, but if it works then, no problem ?
