After reading Stacy's excellent book, I've gone back and forth on how good an idea it was to stake a defense of unborn human dignity on, not just God's existence, but on the Trinity. For such an argument to be advisable, it has to be persuasive. But for believers in God who are not believers in the Trinity (such as Jews) or otherwise do not take the Trinity as a serious part of their faith (I suspect many Christians), it would not be helpful. To them, requiring beliefe in the Trinity might be a stumbling block.

I say this, fully understanding why she chose to make the argument in that way. And her witness to the Trinity is itself valuable.

As I said, I've gone back and forth. I''m conflicted on this.

Brilliant piece. I love reading your writings as they lift my understanding to a higher level. This piece is great for both believers AND skeptics. Thank you.

You're on to a big one Stacy. Trinitarian truths are everywhere to be found in the physical and psychological spheres. Each is a porthole to a deeper understanding that leads back to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit

eg. Twinkle, twinkle little star...
